Amazonite beads are mined in Brazil, Norway, Madagascar, Russia and Pikes Peak, Colorado. Our gemstones have a deeply saturated strongly greenish caribbean ocean blue hue with white calcite internal characteristics as streaks. Amazonite derived its name from the Amazon Rainforest.
